Easy Chicken Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 lb of ground beef OR chicken
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped sweet onion


Step 1: Mix the ground chicken with 1/4 cup of chopped onion, mayonnaise, salt, the egg, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, and garlic.

Step 2: Roll the meatballs, first with your hands, then by rolling them in the remaining 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. This will help the meatballs to hold their shape.

Step 3: Preheat the frying pan on medium-high with olive oil and the remaining onion.

Step 4: Fry the meatballs, turning them from side to side, to make sure that all sides are browned lightly. Then lower the heat to medium, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes until done.

Enjoy with a bowl of pasta!
