A Delicious Strawberry Banana Fruit Smoothie
SIMPLE.LOW CALORIE.YUMMY.This recipe is easy enough that I am able to get up every morning and make a smoothie before work.Eating a low calorie smoothie in the morning helps me intake the calcium and fruit that is recommended daily.

1 Med Banana
8-12 Frozen Strawberries (Hulled)
½ cup Crushed/Cubed Ice
½ cupLow Fat Vanilla Flavored Yogurt or Orange Juice
1 ½ tspHoney or Sugar
Let strawberries sit at room temperature for 5-7 minutes before you blend ingredients.Slice banana into 1 inch slices before adding to the blender.
1.Add strawberries and banana to blender.Puree for 5-10 seconds.
2.Add Ice, Yogurt and Honey.
3.Puree contents for 15-30 seconds.You may need to stop and push the smoothie filling off the sidewalls of the blender toward the bottom.Repeat this step until the smoothie is blended to the consistency you desired.
You can substitute orange juice for yogurt if you prefer.The same rule applies for sugar and honey.You can also add 1-2 drops of vanilla for extra flavoring.Be careful when adding vanilla as it is highly concentrated, very little goes a long way.
