Delicious Steak Dinner in about 10 minutes for Beginner or Lazy Cook!!! How to make an easy quick meal

Extremely Simple Instructions for "NEW" Cooks!!
This will serve 2 people for dinner
what to buy
Buy a piece of steak at the grocery store--a nice large piece about 1/2 inch think. The bigger the piece the more juicy!!! (One large piece instead of 2 small pieces is better)
Buy a canned vegetable of your choice (like peas and carrots or spinach, corn, etc)
Buy 1 large potatoe--red or white is fine.
Buy one onion large.
Cook potatoe first. (The reason I say one -thou you can make 2--is it is less carbs and quicker!! If you do cook two, double the time)
Potatoe goes in microwave-- make sure to poke it with a fork or knife a few times first to let it "breathe" and rinse it off--some microwaves have potato button--press for one potatoe. If not, put it in for 5 -10 mins until it is soft to eat. (You can tell by poking it with a fork.)
Fry piece of steak with some butter on medium heat---watch if you have a gas stove (put on vent, and don't cook too high or burn in case of smoke, will set off alarm.)
While cooking the steak, open the can of vegetables and heat in microwave in bowl for ( 3 mins for only one vegetable).
Take onion, peel it, and cut up into chunks. Place in bowl with some water (not alot) and put on lid or cover loosely. Steam in microwave for 3 minutes seperately from veggie OR BOTH AT SAME TIME FOR 5 MINUTES.
Cooking the steak
If you like well done, cook it longer, but for medium or rare it will cook (be sure to flip it also) in about 5-7 minutes. So keep an eye on this most important piece of meat! and you don't need to over cook it.
Are you ready to eat?
You should have the potato ready first. Put it aside.
Then WHILE cooking the steak, heat the vegetable and onion in microwave.
After veggies, steamed onion and steak are all done, put the potato back in microwave for 1 minute to reheat.
PLATES: Serving for two
Cut steak in half- serves two
Cut potato in half- serves two (w/ butter) You can eat the skin!
Serve the vegatables and steamed onion (w/ butter if you wish)
Now sprinkle some salt and pepper on everything or nothing, depending on your taste =)
