Easy and Cheap Summer Cocktail Recipes

Updated on June 6, 2017

With summer coming up, we need to find some refreshing and non-expensive Cocktails to cool down. These recipes don't require much effort and don't require many ingredients. This makes it easy to make a big amount of the same cocktail.

Necessary Tools

It is not important to have these tools but it helps to have them to make these cocktails. Once purchased, they can be used for a lifetime. It would be a one time purchase for a lifetime of cocktails.

The best is to buy a complete package that contains the shaker, the spoon, and the measurement cup. By buying the whole package it is easier to save. Most products that come separately tend to be more expensive.

This is the perfect package to buy for making cocktails and even comes with a booklet with a couple of cocktail recipes also.

Blue Lagoon

-50ml vodka

-20ml Blue Corazon (or Bols Blue)

-100ml of sprite (or lemonade)

-slice of lemon

-ice cubes

-1 tablespoon grenadine

Add the vodka and Blue Corazon to a shaker full of ice (option: add a teaspoon of lemon juice for some extra flavor), shake and pour into a highball cup or balloon cup filled with ice and the sprite.

To make the cocktail a bit more interesting, take the proper spoon, dunk it into the drink until it reaches the bottom of the cup and slowly add a little grenadine. Do not mix. Not only does it taste good but looks beautiful.

Note: If using Bols you can make this cocktail with any flavor and grenadine also works with all flavors. A popular flavor is Bols Melon. Substitute the Blue Corazon with either Bols flavor prefered.

Woo Woo

-25ml peach schnapps

-25ml vodka

-50ml cranberry juice

Add the vodka and peach schnapps into the cocktail shaker and shake well.

Pour the mix into the desired cup and add the cranberry juice. Mix and serve.

Lemon Drop

-50ml vodka

-50ml lemon juice

-1 tablespoon of sugar

Add the vodka, lemon juice, and sugar to a shaker and shake well.

Pour into a cup of your choosing and add some lemonade to your taste.

Note: Since this cocktail does not have ice included, it is recommended to chill all ingredients before making the cocktail.
