Easy healthy low-fat breakfast smoothie
Orange strawberry banana smoothie
This is a very healthy shake. I would drink it daily while I was nursing my first boy to make sure I was getting enough nutrients to start the day. It is actually 3 - 4 servings.
Combine in a blender:
1 serving of tofu - usually 1/4 or 1/5 of the package
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 cups milk
2 Tbsp frozen calcium fortified orange juice
Blend until smooth.
Add more milk if it's too thick to drink.
Add sugar or Stevia to taste.
Pour into glasses
Sprinkle 1 Tbsp Wheatgerm on top
The whole recipe provides 3.5g of fat, 436 calories and 25g of protein.
