Easy Grilled Chicken Breast

 A backyard cookout is the great American summertime meal, and to make your food taste great you need to start with a clean grill. Using a clean brush, scrape away buildup on the grate. Use an oiled paper towel paper towel to wipe the grate clean, this step readies you for a stick free grill session! Now the heat is on ....if your using a gas grill simply turn to desire heat, and allow the grill to pre-heat ,,,,if your using a charcoal grill, stack the coals two to three coals deep for high-heat...use a single layer for medium heat. If your cooking food that requires different temperatures, such as meat and fruit, you can make two zones with different coal amounts. Working on a small grill you can cook the high temperature foods first, then cook the lower heat food as the coals are cooling down. Easy Grilled Chicken Breast


1/2 cup of you favorite barbecue sauce

8 Small boneless skinless chicken breast halves ( about 2 pounds )

Pour a 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce over chicken in a shallow dish: turn to coat both sides of each breast. refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat grill to medium heat remove chicken from the marinade: discard marinade.

Grill chicken 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until done at 165 degrees, brushing occasionally with the remaing sauce for the last few minutes..

Quick tips - Chicken can be marinated up to 24 hours before grilling as directed.
