Making an Eggless and Gluten Free Quiche

This eggless and gluten free quiche recipe is REALLY easy and simple to make. It might not be exactly like egg quiches you've eaten in the past, but it is very close and tastes delicious. We substituted tofu for the egg and it actually was fairly close to the texture of eggs in quiche and tasted great with the gluten free Pillsbury piecrust, Daiya dairy free cheese, and spinach! You can get the tofu and Pillsbury gluten free piecrust at most grocery stores, but you may need to get the Daiya cheese from a specialty foods store or a Whole Foods store.

Ingredients for Eggless Gluten Free Quiche

  • 1 Pack Tofu
  • 1/3 Cup Soy or Coconut Milk
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • 2/3 Cup Daiya Dairy Free Cheese
  • Add preferred amount Spinach
  • 1 Pillsbury Gluten Free Pie Crust

Instructions for Eggless Gluten Free Quiche

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix the package of tofu and the dairy free milk together with a whisk or fork or with a mixer in a big size mixing bowl.
  3. Add salt and pepper then the cheese and spinach.
  4. Roll out the Pillsbury pie crust with a rolling pin on wax paper then place crust into an oiled pie pan.
  5. Place the innards mixture within the pie crust.
  6. Place pie pan in the oven when the oven is ready first for 30 minutes. Check it after that time and if it isn't golden brown on the top of it put it in the oven for another five minutes. It took me about 45 minutes to bake the quiche thoroughly.
  7. Remove from oven when golden brown on the top and let it cool off. Then go ahead and enjoy your quiche!
