Life Without Apple is Impossible!
Apple is the most undeniable fruit/factor in our lives. It is the word with which, all of us begin our basic level of language training. Think of a world without the existence of apple and it will seem almost impossible to you. A crunchy and delicious fruit, apple has nutritional values for the human body which are indispensable to the human body for good health.
The highly rich phyto-nutrients and anti-oxidants present in apple make it one of the most important fruits that is prescribed by the doctors for one and all. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," and no one has not heard that saying!
The health benefits of apple would be a very long list. So I will keep this part simple and basic so as to be able to move on to the real part of my hub.
- Apple is a rich source of B-complex vitamins that help and aid digestion, metabolism and other synthetic functions in the human body.
- Apples are low in calories and rich in dietary fibre.

Enjoy Your Apple More than Once a Day as a Snack!
Often, eating the same fruit everyday gets boring. I decided to write this hub to give my fellow-hubbers the various ideas of tossing up an apple in these ten different ways so that you all are able to enjoy this fruit in different tastes and flavours everyday. These ten methods are very simple and also make it easier for moms to feed apples to their children everyday.
In fact, you can avoid having junk food and try out these ten different ways of having an apple every day during snack-time. It will keep you away from unhealthy food and give you that very yummy and tempting reason to have a healthy snack every single day!
Apple with Roasted Peanut Butter
Apple and peanut butter is a very delicious combination. Pieces of chopped apple had after dipping in roasted peanut butter taste amazingly sumptuous! The combination also contains all the goodness of apples and peanuts. It is a great snack for toddlers who have a sweet tooth and need to be controlled in that aspect.
Apple with Mustard and Spices
Chop an apple into cubes and keep aside. In a deep glass bowl, add the following ingredients and toss the apple cubes in it:
1. Two teaspoons of Indian Mustard Sauce (Kasundi) or French Dijon Mustard
2. A squeeze of lemon
3. Two green chillies ground into a paste (if you want to make it spicy)
4. Two teaspoons of Mustard Oil
5. Black Salt to taste
Your yummy, spicy and crunchy Spicy Apple concoction is ready!
Apple With Mustard Oil and Chillies
Chop an apple into cubes and pour one teaspoon of mustard oil,a little bit of salt and one chopped green chilly to enjoy a palate-tickling apple snack!
Apple With Roasted Cumin Powder
Cube an apple and put the pieces in a deep glass bowl. Add a teaspoon of roasted Cumin powder, salt and some freshly chopped coriander leaves to enjoy yet another version of spiced apple!
A Snack to go with Wine or Scotch Whiskey
Cube an apple and keep aside.
Cut cheese cubes into small dices.
Put the apple cubes and cheese dices into a glass bowl.
Sprinkle some fresh lemon juice.
Sprinkle some salt to taste.
Sprinkle some black pepper powder.
Toss this mixture and serve this on a plate with toothpicks on the side along with Wine, Scotch or Vodka.
A Yummy Summer Dessert!
Chop an apple into thin, 1cm slices with the skin.
Take a Margherita or Wine Glass.
Pour in some plain, white yogurt into the glass.
Place a layer of the thin slices of apple.
Cover the top of the layer with another layer of yogurt.
Make another layer of the apples.
Give the final topping of yogurt and cover the surface with icing sugar or finely ground sugar. You can also dribble some honey on top.
Refrigerate and serve with a wafer stick!
Butter and Cinnamon Apple
Chop an apple into cubes and keep aside.
In a deep glass bowl, melt one cube of salted butter.
Sprinkle half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder into the butter, some sugar (optional) and toss the apple cubes into the butter.
Serve immediately after tossing for a delicious, cinnamon flavoured apple snack!
You can also use Olive Oil if you want to avoid Butter.
Apple-snack with the Flavour of Rosemary
Prepare a Rosemary Oil by taking 1 lbs of Olive Oil in a small container. Put a teaspoon of dried and hand-pressed Rosemary into the Olive Oil and keep it for at least fifteen days for the oil to get the flavour of Rosemary.
Chop an apple into cubes and sprinkle some salt into it.
Dribble some of the Rosemary oil into the chopped apple and giveit a toss before you enjoy your Rosemary flavoured apple snack this time!
Apple with Mixed Herbs
Chop an apple and put in a bowl.
Dribble some Olive Oil into it.
Sprinkle some Mixed French Herbs and Salt into the bowl and toss it up.
You can also add a dash of white pepper powder to the mixture.
Enjoy your apple in mixed herbs flavour!
Apple with Cheerios or Puffed Rice - a spicy but healthy snack!
Finely chop an apple and keep aside.
Take a small bowl of Cheerios (unsweetened) or Puffed Rice.
Add two teaspoons of finely chopped onions to it.
Add two teaspoons of mustard oil and sprinkle in some salt into the cheerios or puffed rice.
Add the finely chopped apple to the mixture and give it a toss. Your Apple with Cheerios or Puffed Rice is ready!
You can also add chopped tomatoes and chopped green chilly and put in some potato crackers if you like.
