Ingredients needed : 14

Meat

  • 12 Chicken wings
  • 1/2 tsp Poultry seasoning

Produce

  • 1 tsp Onion powder

Refrigerated

  • 3 Eggs

Condiments

  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce
  • 1 Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Baking & Spices

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Lemon pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Teapsoon salt

Oils & Vinegars

  • 1 Vegetable oil

Instructions :

  • Combine all the spice ingredients together in a small bowl. Place the wings in a baking dish and sprinkle the rub all over them. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Whisk together the eggs and hot sauce in a bowl.
  • Place flour and salt in a shallow dish and stir to combine.
  • Pour about 1 1/2 inches of oil in a Dutch oven.Heat to 350 degrees.
  • Dip the wings in the egg mixture and then coat in flour.
  • Fry half the wings for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Use tongs to remove to a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Repeat with remaining wings.

  • 2 cups Flour

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Peanut oil

Liquids

  • 3 tbsp Water

Instructions :

For the Glaze :

  1. Heat the olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, until the garlic has softened.
  2. Add the nectar (honey), soy sauce, and black pepper and simmer together for 10 minutes. Keep an eye on this carefully as the sauce can boil over over the pot. (Will leave you with a burnt nightmare!)

For the Chicken :

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, ginger, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs and cold water together to make an egg wash.
  3. Take the chicken wings (washed and trimmed) and dip them into the egg wash, and then toss them in the flour mixture.
  4. Drop and fry the coated chicken in peanut oil at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the outside is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oil, and while the chicken is still hot, drop the wings into the sauce.

  • 2 tsp butter chicken curry paste
  • 1 400ml jar spicy butter chicken cooking sauce

Instructions :

  1. Preheat oven to 450F. Grease a baking sheet.
  2. Place chicken wings on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn them over and bake an additional 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven.
  3. Heat the Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add cooked wings to saucepan and stir to combine. Place on a serving tray and sprinkle cilantro on top. Serve hot with Butter Chicken Dipping Sauce.

For dipping sauce :

Add sour cream and the Butter Chicken Curry Paste to a small bowl. Stir to combine. Serve in a small dipping bowl.

Honey Lime Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients needed : 6

Meat

  • 3 lbs Chicken wings

Condiments

  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha

Baking & Spices

  • 1/3 cup Cajun seasoning

Other

  • 1 Medium lime (zest and juiced)

Instructions :

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place chicken wings on baking sheet in a single layer, without crowding. Sprinkle each wing liberally with Cajun seasoning.
  • Bake on middle rack of oven for 30 minutes.
  • Zest and juice the lime. Set aside.
  • While the chicken is baking prepare the basting sauce. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon lime zest, 1 tablespoon lime juice, barbecue sauce, honey and sriracha. Stir until blended. Set aside.
  • .After 30 minutes, remove chicken from the oven and baste with 1/2 of the prepared sauce. Return the chicken to the oven and continue cooking 10 minutes. Remove and baste again with the remaining 1/2 of the sauce. Return chicken to the oven for a final 10 minutes to complete cooking and caramelize sauce.
  • Remove the chicken from baking pan onto a serving tray. Squeeze the remaining lime juice over the wings and sprinkle with remaining zest.

Instructions :

For the wings :

  • Gather the ingredients. Completely pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels.
  • Whisk together the sherry and the soy sauce in a medium-sized bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat. Cover and allow to sit for about 30 minutes. You can marinate them for up to 4 hours.

  • Toss the cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, and onion powder in a shallow bowl. Heat up your frying oil in a large heavy-bottomed pot to 350 F.

  • Drain the chicken wings from the marinade, then toss them in the cornstarch mixture. Toss them to coat completely in the mixture.
  • Fry the wings in batches of 5 or so wings at a time. Keep the oil at a steady temperature and fry for 10 minutes or until their internal temperature reaches 165 F and they are golden and crispy on the outside.

For the sauce :

  • Whisk together the sesame oil, ketchup, garlic chili paste, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic to a small saucepan. Cook on medium-low heat in a saucepan until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir frequently so it does not burn. You can also heat in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl in 1 minute increments.

  • Drain the wings from the oil and keep them hot in a 200 F oven.

  • Toss the wings with the sauce, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions and serve immediately.

  • Wash and pat chicken wings dry.

  • Heat up some oil to 350 degrees and fry the wings until they are golden brown and crispy. About 7-10 minutes.
  • While the chicken is frying, in a separate pot combine the suya spice, greek yogurt, lemon juice, and honey. Cook over low heat just until the sauce combines. About 2 minutes.
  • Once the chicken is done, IMMEDIATELY toss in the suya sauce.
  • Place wings on a rack and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped tomatoes and onions if desired. Serve immediately.

An easy Sauce Recipe to Garnish the Wings

Ingredients needed : 5

  • 1/4 cup Hot sauce

Easy Orange Sesame Chicken Wings

Ingredients needed : 11

  • 2 lbs Chicken wings

  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 Scallions

Condiments

  • 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 12 oz Orange marmalade
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce

Baking & Spices

  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice seasoning
  • 1 pinch Red pepper flakes
  • 1 Sesame seeds, toasted

Oils & Vinegars

  • 1 Olive oil
  • 4 tsp Sesame oil

Instructions :

  • Prepare the chicken wings by cutting off the wing tips and discarding (or freezing for chicken stock). Divide the drums from the wings by cutting through the joint. Place the chicken wing pieces in a large bowl. Drizzle a little olive oil and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over the chicken wings and sprinkle the Chinese 5 spice powder on top. Toss to evenly coat the wings with the seasoning.

  • Combine the orange marmalade, soy sauce, ginger, hoisin sauce, sesame oil and red pepper flakes in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove top, lower the heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until sauce has thickened. Set the sauce aside and keep warm.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Air-fry the wings in two batches for 12 to 15 minutes per batch, shaking the basket half way through the cooking process. When both batches are done, toss all the wings with the orange sesame sauce and place the wings back into the basket for another 3 to 5 minutes to heat through and finish cooking.

  • Transfer the wings to a serving platter and sprinkle toasted sesame seed over top. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve.

  • 1/3 cup Frank's wings hot sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar, light
  • 1/2 tsp Cracker black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 3/4 tsp Salt

Liquids

  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions :

  • Adjust your oven racks to the upper-middle and lower-middle positions. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray.
  • Use paper towels to pat the wings dry and place them in a large bowl. It's important to dry them really well.
  • Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder in a small bowl. Then sprinkle the seasoning over the wings, tossing to evenly coat.
  • Arrange wings, skin side up, in single layer on prepared wire rack.
  • Bake, turning every 20 minutes until wings are crispy and browned. The total cook time will depend on the size of the wings but may take up to 1 hour.
  • Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Transfer wings to bowl and toss with sauce.

For Buffalo sauce:

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat stir together all sauce ingredients. Mix well until sugar has dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature before adding to wings

Instructions :

For the wings

  1. Preheat your grill.
  2. Salt and pepper the wings.

Instructions :

CRISPY BAKED WINGS

  • If you plan ahead, lay the wings on a rack on a rimmed baking tray and let them dry uncovered in the fridge overnight. Alternatively, pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Preheat the oven to 250°F/120°C (all oven types). Put one oven shelf in the lower quarter of the oven and one in the top quarter.
  • Line the tray with foil. Spray the rack on the baking tray with oil.
  • Place the wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle over baking powder and salt. Use hands to toss well (or shake in zip lock bag) to coat wings evenly.
  • Place the wings skin side up on the rack (ok if snug, they shrink). Bake on the lower shelf in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Then move the tray up to the higher shelf and turn the oven up to 425°F / 220°C. Bake for a further 40 to 50 minutes, rotating the tray halfway through. The wings do not need to be turned over.
  • The wings are ready when they are dark golden brown and the skin is very crispy.
  • Toss with Hot Sauce and serve immediately with Blue Cheese Dip and celery sticks. They can be served plain, with a dipping sauce or tossed in sauce. Wings also reheat crispy!

SAUCE

  • Whisk together the Sauce ingredients. Keep warm or reheat just prior to using.

BLUE CHEESE DIP

  • Mash the blue cheese with sour cream until smooth (or to your taste).
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well until combined, using milk to get it to the consistency you want.
  • Store in the fridge until required. Remove from the fridge 15 minutes before serving.
