Fish Pudding

Puddings are so many types. Fruit pudding, cake pudding, vegetable pudding, egg pudding etc.

This fish pudding contains not only the taste of fish, but also the potato, tomato sauce, butter etc.

The most important thing in this dish is the main content, fish. We all know fish have a separate smell. But in this recipe contains no such smells. If we heard the word Pudding, we have a picture or a structure of dessert in our mind. This is not a dessert, but I give you a wonderful treat.

All kinds of people like this pudding, especially the elder ones. Because this is a healthy pudding also.

Yields: Serves 6-7 persons

Ingredients

  • 500 Gm Fish (Salmon)
  • 3 Medium Potatoes
  • 30 Gm Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 6 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • To Taste Salt and Pepper

Preparation

  1. Clean and cut fish into thick slices.
  2. Boil potatoes in 150 ml water for 5 minutes, peel and mash.
  3. Add milk and butter to the potatoes.
  4. Cream well.
  5. Grease a mould.

Method

  1. Pour 100 ml water into cooker.
  2. Place grid inside.
  3. Put fish on top of grid.
  4. Close cooker, bring to full cooking pressure on maximum heat.
  5. Reduce to minimum heat and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Allow cooker to cool gradually before opening.
  7. Remove fish and flake. (Leave the water and grid in the cooker.)
  8. Add flour, seasoning and mix.
  9. Line greased mould with 1/3 of potatoes.
  10. Add a layer of fish and 1/3 of tomato sauce.
  11. Continue with a layer of potato, then fish.
  12. Mix the remaining sauce with the remaining potatoes.
  13. When evenly colored, spread over the fish.
  14. Roughen with a fork and cover mould with grease-proof paper.
  15. Pour 150 ml water into cooker.
  16. Place mould on top of the grid and bring to boil.
  17. Close cooker, bring to full cooking pressure on maximum heat.
  18. Reduce to minimum heat and cook for 5 minutes.
  19. Allow cooker to cool gradually before opening.
  20. Serve hot.
