The Best Kitchen Organizers

Updated on November 8, 2010

Are you tired of your untidy kitchen? Fed up with moving the same things from one place to another in your kitchen? Well, a kitchen organizer is a perfect answer for you. The mother is usually the one who is interested in a kitchen organizer - they want their kitchen to be clean and dirt free, with all their kitchen stuff in their proper place. A place for everything and everything in its place.

Sometimes, we can’t deny the fact that after we use something, we place it without thinking and that is the beginning of being disorganized. The best way of dealing with this is to use a kitchen organizer (or several) and get into the habit of putting things back in their rightful place. Spice racks, cutlery trays, utensil holders - you name it - we have it. Check out these kitchen organizers - all highly recommended.

Spice Stack

Spice Stack

This organizer is made from plastic and measures 11 x 11 x 8".  The "Spice stack," organizer has three tiers to organize things and will hold up to 27 full-size or 54 half-size bottles. The tiers can be flipped down on hinges and each tier has a pull out drawer that keep the dirt off.

It has a lot of space and the the drawers are color coded, which helps you in organizing spices according to the use and type. This organizer is perfectly suited for those who love to cook since they also tend to love to buy lots of different spices. And dozens of little spice bottles are a pain to organize.

This is really well thought out and improves kitchen organization no end. No more knocking little bottles everywhere as you hunt for the correct spice in the back of the cupboard. You know I am talking to you.

This spice rack organizer can hold 12 spice jars and can be mounted on a wall or even inside a cabinet door using adhesive strips to provide quick and easy access while you are cooking.

It is durable and its quality is high, despite the low price. like the idea of using this on the inside of a cabinet door - making the most of limited space. A very elegant solution.

One drawback is that - although you can jam a larger bottle in to the clips - it is best to stick with a single size or they do not quite fit properly after you stretch the clip out.

The plastic bottles used for many spices are so light that the rack will stay stuck for a long time. If you end up buying glass jars, you may need to use screws to hold in in place. Good design - very useful.

This organizer is a flat beechwood tray which measures 12-7/8 by 18 by 2-5/8 inches and expands to anywhere between 18 to 23 inches wide, depending on your drawer size - clever idea.

It looks classy and elegant and is easy to clean. You just wipe it with a mild soap and water and then let it dry. The finished product was approved by the FDA so you can be assured that this kitchen drawer organizer has no problem in terms of its quality and durability.

It has a spacious compartments. This organizer is a great option to those people who love to collect things made from wood. If you worry about its durability - there’s no problem with that because it will last a long time - as long as you clean it once in a while.

But since it is made of wood, you really have to dry your utensils before putting them in this one or it will rot. Do not use a dishwasher either - same problem - warping and rotting. Having said that - I think it is worth the "inconvenience," of having ti take care of it - it looks and smells great.

This knife organizer holds 6 large and 8 small knives. It measures 17 x 9 x 2 inches. It is made from sturdy wood. It has also room for a sharpening steel and this makes this organizer a unique one. Not just that, it also has smaller slots for steak knives or parers.

This organizer has a unique design which makes knives easier to remove. The blades are fully covered so you can rest easy - both you and your kitchen knives will be safe. Since it is flat, it doesn't take much vertical space. You can put it in a drawer no problem.

A great quality product and well worth the price to protect a decent set of knives.

I love Good Grips stuff. Everything they make is well thought out and inexpensive - this drawer organizer is no different. This organizer measures 15-1/4 by 9-1/2 to 16 by 2 inches and expands from 9-3/4 to 16-1/4. It has 3 sections for forks, knives and spoons and another for "gadgets." The divider holds more per compartment that just about any other organizer and it keeps your utensils piled accordingly.

This organizer is truly a big help to keep your kitchen neat. Ensuring cleanliness is a big issue and this is a great way of ensuring you are well protected.

Amazing value for money at under $15 - it will probably outlast your kitchen.
