The Benefits of Fruits
Fruits can be very beneficial to one's diet. Although fruits can have some fat and sugar for example, the good outweighs the bad and that's especially the case when it comes to comparing fruits to most other foods. Most of our diets are whatever lunch is brought in to the office. We try to make the best decision out of the food that was brought. The other day, I did notice that someone had brought a big bag of apples. One time we got fruit baskets by, Edible Baskets. (Those were amazing)!
Some fruits are high in water and they have a high sugar content most of the time. The sugar that is in the fruit is a more natural sugar than say just the white sugar. It is a good idea any way to bring or grab a water on the way in to work.
Just like with other foods do not over indulge. I would say if you are a diabetic you would most certainly want to check with your doctor about what he/she would want your blood sugar to be. While bananas are healthy, for people with diabetes they can reek havoc on a patient's blood sugar.
Many healthy shakes and blended juices that are healthy and energizing are all natural fruit derived beverages.

Bananas are full of nutrition especially Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Potassium and Fiber. Bananas are great inside cereal.
Bananas can be eaten as a snack or as part of a meal. Bananas can be eaten raw and some bananas such as plantains can be cooked. Eat bananas in cereal or eat them in banana bread to help prevent having to ever take potassium pills.
One time on a Dr. visit I was told that if I would eat one or two bananas every month I would get all the potassium I needed. On that visit to the Doctor I was low on potassium and he had me to take two huge potassium pills. So, unless you are great at swallowing pills and your potassium is low, (unless you are in the hospital), get ready for your Doctor to recommend taking potassium pills.

Apples are loaded with Dietary Fiber and Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Calcium and Iron. Apples are naturally high in fiber and iron which is great for people who face iron and fiber issues. Apples can be eaten with the skin or peeled. Discard the core and positively do not eat the seeds.
Apples can be snacks or eaten in meals such as salads. Apples can be canned, eaten raw, baked, stewed and made into a juice for consumption. The saying goes, "An Apple a day keeps the Doctor away" and to a degree the saying is true because of the nutritional qualities of the apple.
Also, Apple Cider is a big thing instead of Apple Juice. Cider is made by pressing apples into unfiltered juice. Red Delicious Apples are the most common apple. The Golden Delicious (yellow) Apple is sweet and the Granny Smith (Green) Apple is more bitter.

Oranges have many health benefits including being full of Vitamin C, Magnesium, Calcium, and Phosphorus. The orange family also has Tangerines which are loaded with unwanted seeds.
Orange Juice is a great way to wake up and start the day with renewed energy. Navel oranges or Valencia oranges are grown and sold year round not to mention O.j. Orange Juice is great with a breakfast or just to get going in the A.M. Dried oranges have less sugar and their health value cannot be underestimated.
Never eat the orange peels because number one it taste gross and number two the acidity will burn your stomach. And it goes without saying but do not eat the seeds either.

Strawberries are full of nutrients our bodies need such as Vitamin C, Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and Vitamin E. Strawberries are not simple to grow but when cared for they will produce lots of fruit.
Strawberries are a great breakfast fruit and a tasty fruit without a doubt. They can are fresh, dried, frozen, canned, jellied, Juiced and eaten alongside breakfast foods. Strawberries bruise easily and do not last long so enjoy them in a few days while they are ripe.
You can never have enough strawberries. Wash them and eat them fresh and without chocolate or powdered sugar. Remember, Strawberry Fields are forever.
Peaches are loaded with health benefits including being full of potassium, Vitamins C, A, E and K, and Beta Carotene. Always was your fruits off with water before enjoying to get rid of germs.
Peaches are common to be recipes in pies or other baked goods but a good ole Raw peach is still the way to go. Eat a peach in the summertime when they are very ripe to help gain extra energy. Get peaches that are from your area for the ultimate taste with all the flavor. In Alabama we get the Chilton County Peaches and all Georgia peach sales at Wal Mart and Target stop until the Chilton County 8 weeks goes by.
Note: Peaches have a very short shelf life and can only go for a few days before becoming over ri pined. On the other hand, If the peach is not ripe enough wrap it in a paper bag to speed up the ripening process. The same goes with Bananas.
