Need Awesome Drinks For Your Party?

Deciding on drinks can be tricky! Which one would my guest like more? Should I have more then one kind of drink? Do they all have to contain alchol!? Well, all of these questions depend on how many guest are coming and who your guest are. If you have alot of people coming then you probably would want more than one kind of drink. You really wouldn't know who is going to like what, so having more than one kind of drink would be better. Think of it this way. Different kind of people, different taste buds! They all do not have to contain alchol, some of your guest may decide not to drink so therefore, having a non-acholic drink option would be better. So, lets get down to business!

Red-Raspberry Fluff (Non-alcoholic)

  • 1 3 oz pkg red raspberry gelation
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup drained crushed ice
  • 1 cup raspberries

Directions: Empty gelation into blender. Add boiling water, cover. Blend for 2 miuntes to dissolve. Keep blender running, slowly add ice. Then blend for 1 minute until blender feels cool. Take chilled glasses upside down and rub the rims into the raspberries juices then rub them into sugar, this will cause the sugar to turn reddish purple. Make sure your glasses are chilled before putting fluff into them. See how to chill a glass at the bottom of this page. After your blender feels cool, pour your fluff into your chilled glasses.

Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2/3 jigger tequila (1 oz)
  • Dash triple sec
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Directions: Put all ingredients into a blender. Mix well. Pour into a cocktail glass prepared by rubbing glass rim with cut lime and dipping in salt. Makes 1


Frozen Daiquiri

Ingredients-

  • 2 jiggers light rum (3 oz)
  • 1 tbsp lime
  • 2 tbsp confectioners sugar
  • 2 cups crushed ice

Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until consistency of snow. Serve immediately with a straw. Makes 1

Strawberry Crush (Non-Alcholic)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 envelope unsweetened strawberry flavored soft drink powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 (6) oz can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 (10) oz pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 (28) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  • Ice cubes

Directions: Put 2 cups cold water, raspberry flavored soft drink powder, sugar, and frozen lemonade concentrate in blender. Blend until powder and sugar are dissolved. Combine mixture with remaining 2 cups water and thawed raspberries. Stir. Chill. Just before serving, stir in carbonated beverage. Serve over ice. Makes 2 1/4 quarts.


How to chill a glass:

Step 1: Put your glasses into your refrigertor or freezer a few hours before you plan to use them.

Step 2: When you are ready for your glasses, take them out and fill them with crushed ice.

Step 3: Swish the ice around a few times, then pour ice out.

Step 4: Dry the glasses lightly and fast.

Step 5: Add your drink!

      These drinks look so refreshing. I think I'll make some of them, and substitute the alcohol ones with sprite. Nice, colorful hub.
