French Toast my way

Updated on January 21, 2012

This is how I make French Toast

So you want to make French Toast, but you don't know how exactly to go about making it?  Well, I'll tell you how I make it.  It's pretty simple, and I think it tastes good.

Ingredients: 4 slices of bread (If I'm making 4 French Toasts)

                    2 eggs

1-2 teaspoons of sugar (or as you like it)

2 tablespoons of milk (any kind)

2 teaspoons of oil or butter (for frying the bread)

Take the eggs, beat them.  Add in milk and sugar and stir well.  Then soak the bread for a minute or two on each side.  While you are soaking the first bread slice, heat up your skillet and add the oil or butter.  Then take the soaked bread and fry it until golden brown or a little darker if you prefer.  Do the same for the rest of them.  You can eat them with syrup, jam/jelly/marmalade or just plain butter.

Preparation time: about 5-10 minutes depending on the number of bread slices you use.
