Fresh Spaghetti Sauce

Updated on August 30, 2011

My Way

As a new person on the hub, I thought you should know I love spaghetti with sauce. I make My own sauce from scratch. On Thursday I visit the Farmers Market. Here you can obtain fresh vegetables. on My Trip I am look for fresh garlic, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and jalapenos. My recipe is simple quick satisfying i enjoy this recipe so much that i purchased a stainless steel wok just for this dish. The sauce is prepared as follows:  First, crush, peel and dice the garlic Then finley chop the onion bell pepper onion Seed the jalapeno but do not remove the rib from the inside  before slicing it fine also. The rib the white material on the inside is what carries the heat of the pepper. core and Dice three large Tomatoes add almost last.

ingredients :

1 Jalapeno

1/2 Bell pepper

1/2 onion

4 cloves of Garlic

3 large tomatoes

1/4 cup Olive Oil

In The wok over medium heat saute Onion, Garlic, Bell Pepper, and the jalapeno until tender then add the tomatoes cook unti it resembles chunky Salsa. Don't over cook . At the very end add Oregano. I placed the Oregano here because it the very last ingredient to add.

Sounds good - I've never thought of putting jalapeno in a spaghetti sauce. I'll have to try it.
