Fresh Tomato and Basil Salad (50 Calories per Serving)
As summer comes, I am always looking for fresh, refreshing salads and nothing says summer like an abundance of tomatoes. This is an easy tomato salad that you can make from the ingredients in your own garden. The combination of sweet vinegars, cool tomatoes and the right hint of fresh basil and onions are tangy enough to pairs with a grilled chicken or a cool pasta dish.

Yields: Serves 4 people approximately 3/4 cups.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Tomatos, Chopped
- 4 Leaves Basil, Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Onion, Chopped
Instructions
- This is a simple copy and serve recipes. Just combine all dry ingredients chopped in a bowl and combines with the vinegar.
- For best flavor chill and marinade the ingredients for about an hour or serve immediately for a quickly prepared meal.
