Makes about one cup of Garlic Herb Vinaigrette. Serves approximately eight.

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper, ground
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Herb seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup olive oil
  1. In a mortar or small mixing bowl, pound to a purée or mince garlic cloves with the salt, garlic powder & pepper. Add Italian Herb seasoning and combine. Whisk in the lemon juice until the salt dissolves. Finally, whisk in the olive oil.
  2. Serve immediately by pouring into a serving dish with a spatula. Leftover vinaigrette can be refrigerated. Please note: refrigerated vinaigrette must be brought to room temperature before serving.
