Updated on November 30, 2014

I love Popcorn but also know that it can be very fattening. So years ago I invested presto poplite hot air popcorn popper. I use it several times a month to make my favorite snack. Garlic and Olive Oil Popcorn. It is finger lickin good.

Presto 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper

Garlic and Olive Oil Popcorn

I make this recipe using the Presto Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Popper Not only is it the easiest popper you will ever use, it makes perfect popcorn every time. I have owned my hot air popper for over 5 years!

  • Put approx. 1/4 cup olive oil in the "butter dish" on the top of the machine. (this will make the oil nice and hot.
  • Pop one large bowl of air popped popcorn.
  • drizzle the olive oil over the popcorn.
  • sprinkle some garlic salt (I use garlic sea salt) over popcorn and oil.
  • Mix well and serve.

You can also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese for a yummy alternative.

Presto Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Maker

Presto Popcorn Maker Review

The Presto Popcorn Maker is the best air popcorn popper on the market. This Popcorn maker has with stood lots of use over the years. We are a family of 5 so when it is movie night we make lots.

I love it because it is a healthier choice over the stove top method or an old fashion popcorn popper. It is a simple as filling the popcorn to the line and plug in. When the pop corn is done simply unplug. It doesn't get any easier. And if you are watching your weight, you can simply spray on some butter or olive flavored cooking spray and salt and you are good to go.

That sounds yummy and healthy too! I don't have an air popper anymore but I will be looking for one soon. I also like the Parmesan cheese idea! I am getting tired of microwave popcorn...plus it has some pretty unhealthy fats from what I hear...
