Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup Lemon juice
  • 3 ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 ¼ tbsp Black Salt ( kala namak)
  • 2 ¼ tbsp Roasted Cumin Powder

Method

  1. Mix together the sugar, lemon juice, black salt and roasted cumin powder in a bottle and place it in direct sunlight for about six to seven days, till the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Shake the bottle once daily. Pour two tablespoons of the syrup into a glass, top it up with one cup of chilled water or club soda, stir and serve immediately.
