Ghorme Ki Sabzi Recipe

Ghorme ki sabzi is a well known healthy nutritious dish of Iran. People around the world like this dish very much. They want to make it, eat it and share it with friends and family.

Yields: 4 to 6 people

Khorme Ingredients

  • 250 gms Beef
  • 100 gms Spinach
  • 100 gms Parsley
  • 100 gms Dill
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 to 4 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 2 Onion
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Khorme Preparation steps

  1. Take all the herbs and vegetables, wash them in water.
  2. Chop the herbs, vegetables and onion into small pieces
  3. Take a pan, add cooking oil to it. Heat it to mild temperature.
  4. Add herbs and vegetables to this pan and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Take another pan and cooking oil to it.
  6. Heat the oil to mild temperature. Add onion pieces into it.
  7. When the onion pieces color starts to turn golden brown add beef pieces to it.
  8. Add turmeric, salt and pepper to taste to the mixture of beef and onion.
  9. Add 2 cups of water to the beef pan and cover the pan with lid.
  10. Cook this mixture for 20 minutes.
  11. Take the first pan in which you have cooked vegetables. Add salt and pepper to the taste.
  12. When the beef mixture got cooked, add the vegetable and herbs mixture to the beef mixture pan.
  13. Finally cook for few more minutes, to mix the mixture well.
  14. Khorme is ready to serve. Garnish it and serve it to the four people.
