Grandmas Broccoli soup

Here's a Hearty Soup!

It's hearty and full of vitamins.it takes a while to make, but it's worth the wait

Like I said this is Grandma's Broccoli soup!!. One to enjoy or keep, make this tasty soup.




Ingredients:



  • 1/2 Cup Parsley
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 6 teaspoon Chicken Base
  • ice
  • 2 tsp Garlic salt
  • 1/3 lb Butter
  • 3 lbs Broccoli
  • 1 1/2 Cups Corn starch
  • 2 Cups water
  • 1 Cup Sherry Cooking Wine
  • 1 Gallon Milk
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

Instructions:

You will need a double boiler for this. But you will also need a pot to steam your Broccoli, or a steamer.

In a pot Steam your broccoli till done.

you will need to chop your celery 8th of inch.

In your double boiler add your 1 gallon of milk, your chicken base, parsley, white pepper and lemon juice. Then add butter, celery and garlic salt. Simmer until celery is almost done, mix corn starch and water till smooth add your broccoli and sherry. Mix an stir and simmer until soup thickens.

Prep time: 30 min
Cook time: 3 hours
Ready in: 3 hours 30 min
Yields: This serves a family of 5-6
