Green Beans (in Foil) on the Grill
Beans. Green beans. My beans are growing. They produce a blossom and by the next day, there is a bean waiting to be picked.
This year, my beans are overachievers. Everytime I walk to the row of beans, I'm hopeful that the plants will have some beans hanging there. The plants have yet to disappoint.
Ingredients
- green beans
- onion
- mushrooms
- seasoned salt
- butter
My hubby suggested some onion slices, a can of mushrooms, butter and some seasoned salt.
I cooked mine in a large piece of grilling foil. I placed all the beans on the center and folded the sides up. Everything was in the foil. Then, I folded the top edge over. The whole point is to keep the moisture and steam inside the foil.
I turned my grill on high. It was hot when I placed the beans on the grate. Then, I came back 39 minutes later.
