Wonderfully Delicious Taco Seasoning Recipe
1. 2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
2. 2 Tablespoons Paprika
3. 2 Tablespoons Ground Cumin
4. 1 Tablespoon Ground Sea Salt
5. 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
6. 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
7. 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
8. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
9. 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Red Pepper Flakes
This mixture makes one of the best if not the best homemade taco seasonings that your ever going to make and use. It is a really wonderfully delicious seasoning that is good on chicken or beef.

Chicken Taco Salad Is So Very Delicious
Another Delicious Recipe For Chicken Taco Salad.
I love Chicken Taco Salads and this is a really great recipe. I make it with chicken thighs. I start with skinned boned chicken thighs and I prepare a pan by spraying it with vegetable cooking spray. I sprinkle about eight chicken thighs on the front and back and then I put them on the prepared baking pan and put them in the oven that I have preheated to 350 degrees. I cook them for about 25 minutes until they are thoroughly cooked. I then take them off the pan and let them cool until they are easy to work with.
While they are cooling I mix the below ingredients together.
1. 8 Plum Tomatoes Diced Fine.
2. 2 Cups Shredded Lettuce.
3. 1 Cup Whole Kernel Corn Drained Very Well.
4. 1/2 Cup Green Onions Including Tops Diced Up Fine.
5. 1 Seven Ounce Package Spanish Rice Pilaf Made By Package Directions.
6. 2 Tablespoons Lime Juice.
7. 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil.
8. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper.
9. 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin.
10. Salt And Pepper To Taste.
I mix all of the above ingredients together very well in a large plastic container that I have the lid for. I chill these ingredients for about 2 hours before I finish putting my Chicken Taco Salads together.
I buy 8 large taco bowls like in the above photo. I fill the bowl about two thirds full of the above ingredients. I chop the cooked taco seasoned chicken and I cover the top of the salad with the chopped up taco chicken. I offer salsa, guacamole and sour cream so people can add what they want to their Chicken Taco Salad.
I guarantee you that these Chicken Taco Salads are some of the best you will ever eat in your life. They are so very delicious.
Grilled Taco Chicken Thighs
I will often take a family pack of chicken thighs and remove the skin and bones from each chicken thigh. I sprinkle them with a package of taco seasoning and then I grill them over indirect heat on my grill. I cook them until I know they are well done but I don't overcook them.
When they are done I go ahead and chop them up into small bite size pieces. I let the chicken cool and then I put the pieces of chicken in a zip lock bag and if I'm going to use it in the next couple of days I put it in the refrigerator. If not then I write on the bag with a permanent marker the date and what is in the bag. This way I can pull the chicken out of the freezer on a busy day and have a meal ready in a hurry.
You can heat up some of the taco chicken and put it on a floured tortilla shell. You sprinkle shredded Mexican cheese over the top of the chicken and then you put another flour tortilla shell on top of that. You put the whole thing on a baking pan and you heat it thoroughly until the cheese is melted and everything is hot.
Cut the finished Quesadilla's up into small pieces and serve them with guacamole, sour cream, diced sweet onions, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeno's and etc on the side so people can what they want on their Quesadilla's. I promise you that these will be so very wonderful and delicious. Try them and see what you think.

Grilled Chicken Taco Salad Recipe
This is one of my favorite all time recipes and it is also a quick and easy recipe that you can expand out as far as you want to make it everything from a snack to a full and complete family meal. I grill chicken thighs sprinkled with dry powdered taco seasoning and I end up with some of the most delicious chicken you'll ever taste in your life.
When I'm making a salad I always use the freshest ingredients possible and that way you'll be rewarded with the best flavors possible.
Try Using Chicken Thighs Instead Of Chicken Breasts
To start with you need 8 half's of skinless , boneless chicken breast and you will want to grill these and when done slice into very thin strips. You can use chicken thighs if you want to. I think chicken thighs have more flavor and they are about the fourth the cost of chicken breasts.
1. Chop 2 large tomatoes into small pieces. Be sure to cut the tops off your tomatoes.
2. Break up a large bag of salad greens into small pieces.
3. Slice a large purple onion into very thin slices.
4. 1 cup of Mexican 4 Cheese Shredded Cheese.
5. 1 Envelope Taco Seasoning.
Mix Up Your Chicken Taco Salad Well
Combine all of the above including your chicken into a large mixing bowl and mix up very well.Place 1 1/2 cup of the salad onto each plate and garnish with guacamole, sour cream , black olives and fresh chopped fine cilantro. When you serve a salad make sure that you serve cold ingredients cold. And always chill your salad bowls well before you put the salad in them and serve.
This as I said is one of my favorite salads and it really is quite delicious.
As I said you can expand this into a more complete meal by serving the salad in a taco bowl, adding bacon, and broken taco chips.Some people like to add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the original salad recipe to kick this salad up a notch or two.
You can also if you wish use chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts. I do this almost all the time because the chicken thighs are a lot cheaper than chicken breasts and I think chicken thighs have a lot more flavor than chicken breasts. Try them yourself and see what you think. Just remove the bones and skins from the chicken thighs and then grill the chicken thighs sprinkled with the taco seasoning. I bet you'll love them fixed this way.
I've even made this taco salad and added deep fried small pieces of tilipia to my salad and its so delicious made this way. Yes fish in a taco salad is delicious and its healthy for you to.
I also often offer sour cream, guacamole, and fresh sliced jalapeños on the side so people can add what they want to in their taco salad. I've also offered well drained hot pinto beans on the side and people love the taco salads with all the added ingredients. You'll have to decide what you want to offer on the side with your taco salads.
When you grill your chicken thighs grill the chicken thighs while sprinkling them with dry taco seasonings and I guarantee you that you'll end up with some of the most delicious taco grilled chicken that you'll ever taste in your life. Chicken thighs have much better flavor than chicken breasts.
You can deep fry your own taco bowls and while they are still hot go ahead and make the taco salads in them. Put each individual taco salad onto a plate and then put the ingredients for a taco salad in each taco salad bowl. I bet you that people will love the taco salads with all the extra ingredients. Try them and see what you think. Be sure to serve your taco salad bowls while they are still hot for the best flavor.

Shrimp is grilled until it is just done and then when it is done the shrimp is placed on a bed of white rice, black beans, chopped fresh cilantro, lime juice, mayonnaise, and sliced avocado. Lime wedges are served on the side. You can grill the shrimp sprinkled with the homemade taco seasoning at the top of this web page. Mix one half cup mayonnaise with two tablespoons of lime juice to make the lime mayonnaise. Be sure to drain your black beans very well. These are really good.
