Garam Masala

Garam Masala is a mixture of ground spices used in Asian foods in different countries. It has a very high flavor and smell. It makes the food very spicy and delicious for the people who like very spicy food. Normally The spices which are used to make it are:Black and white peppercorns, Cloves, Cinnamon or cassia bark, Nutmeg and mace, Black and green cardamom pods and Bay leaf. But some times people with stomach issues get disturbed because of these spices as they are very hard in taste. That's why i am sharing a light easy to digest recipe of mix ground spice powder.

Yields: 1 tbs 10 Asian recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 barks medium size Cassia bark/ Cinnamon
  • 1 big Black cardamom
  • 15 whole cloves
  • half cup Black peppercorns
  • 1 cup Cumin seeds

Method

  1. Heat all spices till they become light brown.
  2. Now grind them enough that it become powder.
  3. Save in an air tight jar.

Well if you want to add light spice and beautiful smell in your food use this recipe of Ground spices. It will not disturb your stomach if prepared in this way. Even the people with weak stomach can add these spices to their diet. Usually in pure Asian food these spices are added often. It is the best recipe to make you meal more flavored and nice smelling.
