METHOD OF PREPARATION

BHAJIS OR POKARAS ARE AN INDIAN DELIGHT.

THIS IS A VEGAN RECIPE THAT RUNS IN MY FAMILY SINCE THE DAY OF THE NIZAMS.

INGREDIENTS.

SERVES TWO

1. BESAN POWER 4TABLE SPOON [BENGAL GRAM FLOUR]

2. WATER ENOUGH TO MAKE BATTER

3. SLICED VEGETABLES ;ONION,POTATO,GREEN CHILLIES.

4.PINCH OF SALT.

5. OIL TO FRY.

METHOD

A1.MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER OF BESAN AND WATER ADD SALT PER TASTE.

A2. HEAT THE OIL IN A WOK .

A3. DIP THE SLICED VEGETABLES IN THE BATTER.

A4. THEN TAKE OUT THE COATED VEGETABLES ONE AT A TIME AND DEEP FRY.

A5. SERVE HOT WITH TOMATO SAUCE.
