Yields: 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 1/2 Cups Cook Ham, Cubed
  • 2 Green Onions, Chopped
  • 8 ounces canned pineapple chunks, Drined
  • 1 1/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar, Packed
  • 2 teaspoons Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups Hot cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Melt butter using a large skillet over a med heat.
  2. Add, onions, ham and pineapple, saute for 5 minutes.
  3. In a larger bowl, combine the pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard, then pour over ham mix.
  4. Cook over med heat for about 6 minutes. serve over fluffed rice.

      It's a different dish, but it is really good.

      Your recipe sounds interesting. I don't make sweet-sour rice dishes very often but it is worth a try.
