Healthy Eats for Fat Defeat

Why is healthy food good?

Healthy food is not only delicious but nutritious! Fruits and Vegetables are the basics for any healthy meal. Also, choosing the right meats are very important, always try get lean meats and/or try to buy organic because in my opinion organic tastes much better then non-organic. Personally I dont like GMO's. There are so many ways to incorporate good foods into your life. As long as you choose natural and healthy options and follow the recipes I am going to provide you will love what you create, trust me!

A Few Healthy Recipes

Basil and Spinach Stuffed Chicken


4 Chicken Breasts

1 1/2 cups fresh Spinach

12 Basil Leaves

1/2 cup cream cheese

4 Garlic cloves, minced

8 toothpicks

In a bowl, mix to combine spinach and cream cheese. On one side of each chicken breast slice into it to create a pocket. For each chicken breast put three basil leaves inside then fill with spinach mixture. Using two toothpicks, poke through to hold filling inside chicken breast. Rub minced garlic on top of each chicken breast. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until done (depending on breast thickness).


Turkey Meatloaf


1 pound ground turkey

2 eggs

1/2 cup fresh Parsley

2 tbsp minced garlic

1/2 cup parmesean cheese

1/2 cup diced onions

1/4 cup green bell peppers diced


In a bowl, combine eggs, parsley, garlic, parmesean, onions and bell peppers. Mix well, then add turkey meat. With your clean hands, mix it all together until fully combined. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour to 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Healthy Desserts

Peach "Minus the" Cobbler


4 Peaches sliced

2 tsps Cinnamon

1 tsp Nutmeg


Combine and Bake at 325 degrees F for 15-20 minutes until bubbly. Cool for five to ten minutes and enjoy on its own or over home made banana "ice cream".


Banana "Ice Cream"


6 frozen bananas


Put frozen bananas into blender or processor and blend until smooth. Freeze for 5 to ten more minutes for firmer "ice cream".


Apple Cinnamon Baked Slices


3 Apples, sliced

2 tsps cinnamon

1/2 tsp sugar


In a bowl combine all ingredients until evenly distributed. On a baking sheet, put parchment paper and place apples slices on sheet in an even layer. bake at 325 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until apples are soft. Cool and enjoy!
