It's time to get your kids in the kitchen so they can help you with the task of making a healthy snack that they will love plus have a great time making them also.
Making kabobs with fruit and cheese not only makes a great snack but it could be use for a nice lunch or even a good party food also, all you have to do is pick out the fruit and cheese your family likes then you the parent can use the knife to dice or cube up any fruit and cheese that have to be cut up then you can let your kids but the kabobs together.
So what I want to share with you is how me and my kids use when were making this healthy treat.
To make 16 kabobs this is what we do.
Ingredients
16oz package of mozzarella cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes ( you should get 32 cubes )
1 small cantaloupe, cut in half then using a melon ball-er ball out 32 balls
32 fresh strawberries, remove the green stems from the top of the strawberry
Methods
What I do is arrange 2 of each items on a small straw or a wooden skewers or you and your kids can arrange them any way you like, that's the fun of making them so you can create your own kabob.
You can also add Greek yogurt, vanilla or chocolate pudding or sauce for dipping this will just add extra fun and flavor to this tasty so come on and try with your kids very soon ....I'm sure it will be a hit.....Happy Eating.
