Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe
For this recipe, it is best to use a high powered blender or food processor of some sort like a ninja or Bella Rocket Extractpro.
This recipe is high in protein and keeps you feeling full. It is a perfect pre- or post-workout drink, or it can be used as a meal replacement drink.
I drink this as a breakfast drink almost every day and rarely feel hungry by lunch time.
Warning: It looks gross because it's a green smoothie, but it actually tastes very good!
- 1 apple
- 1/3 avocado
- 1 stalk celery
- 2-3 chunks pineapple
- 1/3 scoop vanilla whey protein
- Chop all ingredients into small chunks and put in blender. High powered blenders work best, such as a Ninja.
- Blend on high until all foods are completely blended.
- Add as much water as needed for consistency.
