Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe

Smoothie Information

For this recipe, it is best to use a high powered blender or food processor of some sort like a ninja or Bella Rocket Extractpro.

This recipe is high in protein and keeps you feeling full. It is a perfect pre- or post-workout drink, or it can be used as a meal replacement drink.

I drink this as a breakfast drink almost every day and rarely feel hungry by lunch time.

Warning: It looks gross because it's a green smoothie, but it actually tastes very good!

Ready in: 7 min
Yields: Makes one serving approximately 20 oz


  • 1 apple
  • 1/3 avocado
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2-3 chunks pineapple
  • water
  • 1/3 scoop vanilla whey protein
  1. Chop all ingredients into small chunks and put in blender. High powered blenders work best, such as a Ninja.
  2. Blend on high until all foods are completely blended.
  3. Add as much water as needed for consistency.
