Healthy Salad Dressing: Bolthouse Farms Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressing

Updated on May 25, 2008

Green salads can be a great meal option for those trying to lose weight, assuming diners don't go overboard with fatty salad dressings. If you like salads, but have a bad habit of putting too much creamy dressing on your healthy greens and other raw veggies, you'll be happy to discover Bolthouse Farms' line of healthy salad dressing based on yogurt rather than mayonnaise.

You can enjoy rich and delicious Bolthouse Farms Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressings without busting your diet. These healthy salad dressings are free from the high fructose corn syrup and mayonnaise that add hundreds of empty calories to each serving of traditional salad dressings. Substitution of yogurt for these less healthy ingredients reduces the calorie, fat, and sugar content, and also adds additional protein and calcium to each serving.

Bolthouse Farms Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressing Benefits

When you check the label of any flavor of Bolthouse Farms Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressing, you won't find any of the following ingredients, which are present in most other commercially available salad dressing products:

  • No preservatives
  • No artificial colors
  • No artificial flavors
  • No MSG
  • No added sugar
  • No high fructose corn syrup
Flavor Varieties

Bolthouse Farms yogurt salad dressings are available in a variety of the most popular salad dressing flavors, including:

  • Chunky Blue Cheese
  • Classic Ranch
  • Caesar Parmigiano
  • Thousand Island
  • More flavors to come

Product Availability

Bolthouse Farms Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressings are available in major supermarkets chains and health food stores across the United States. I was deeply disappointed to find that your Creamy Italian Tuscan style dressing has been discontinued. After much searching I finally found that Whole Foods carries your dressings---but no Creamy Italain. I bought all the flavors they carry, and not a one can compare to the Creamy Italian Tuscan style. Please bring it back, and work on your distribution; stores carry your juices, but not the dressings.

The salad dressings are incredible! Fresh tasting, and extremely flavorful. I am sold on these dressings, especially the Raspberry/Merlot, Blue Cheese, and Asian Ginger. Great with cooked vegetables too. Real winners!!!

I just did a google search to find your poppy seed yogurt dressing and was saddened to see that it may have been discontinued. I am not a great cook but this dressing added to any vegetable made it possible for me to serve my grandchildren vegetables that they loved to eat. Please bring it back.. I haven't told my grandchildren yet and am hoping to be able to buy this again. Thank you.

I adore the olive oil vinagrette with blue cheese. I used to be able to find it at our local Shaws market but now they have all the flavors except that one. It is absolutely divine!

We just love your dressings. My kids loved the poppy seed one and we ate salad every day with dinner untill I no longer could find it in the stores. Please bring back your poppy seed dressing. My kids loved it and I loved it because they eat vegtables. Your other dressings are great too, infact I won't buy anything else. Thanks for making such a healthy salad dressing.

I swore I had gotten a honey mustard in our local supermarket but have never seen it again. I was hoping I could find some information here on the website but do not see it listed as a flavor. What is up?
