Tabbouleh with Quinoa

Healthy & Tasty Dish

Tabbouleh is one of the favorite appetizers dishes for all Arab countries people and popular salad in the Middle East area. And there are Arabic tabbouleh and Turkish tabbouleh, in Arabic tabbouleh we add lemon juice to tabbouleh, and in Turkish tabbouleh, Pomegranate molasses is added to tabbouleh instead of lemon juice, but they have the same scrumptious taste. Accept its delicious taste, it contains a lot of benefits and easy to digest and suitable for vegetarians. In this recipe I will give tabbouleh trendy and new taste, I replaced Bulgar with quinoa; as it is known that quinoa is whole grains contain a lot of essential minerals and proteins for body. And you will not better than tabbouleh for your diet.


  1. Cup of well washed quinoa several times.
  2. 2 cups of water.
  3. A quarter cup of olive oil.
  4. Quarter cup of lemon juice.
  5. Large tomatoes, chopped fine chop.
  6. Onions or green onions, chopped fine chop.
  7. 3 cups of chopped parsley soft and washed chop.
  8. Salt / pepper.


  • In a pot over medium heat, put the quinoa, water and a little salt.
  • When water boils, lower the temperature of fire and cover the pot.
  • Leave in for 15 to 20 minutes until quinoa ripens and water dries.
  • Turn off under the pot, and placed it on the edge until quinoa becomes cool.
