Maple Syrup

This sauce would be great when used for dessert. What I remember about maple syrup from my childhood, is putting maple syrup on biscuits at breakfast time. You can butter your biscuits or serve them without butter.

You start with 1 cup of maple syrup.

Then stir in:

1/4 cup toasted nuts

1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt (whisk into the syrup)

(8oz.) package of softened ream cheese, whisk in with the hot syrup

Some additional serving suggestions for this maple syrup: Great to serve over fruit, ice cream, yogurt, pound cake or non-frosted cake or, whatever else you can think of where this great flavor combination can be used.
