Home Made Margarita Pizza
Cook Time ( Pizza Dough)
Restaurant Style Home Made Margarita Pizza
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Active Dry yeast ( Instant Yeast)
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Honey
1 Cup water ( lukewarm Water)
2 TBS Salt
- Place the Dry Yeast in water and let stand,( Follow Yeast Directions on the package)
- Add Sugar, flour and salt to Mixing Bowl.( Start mixing on slowest speed)
- Slowly add water/ Yeast mixture, to the flour in till the dough is smooth and slightly sticky, then add the honey till pizza dough is fully incorporated into the dough.
- Let set, for five minutes, then roll out dough to desired shape. Place tomatoes sauce, and slice mozzarella cheese for toppings, and bake in oven at 400, for 20 Minutes or in till pizza crust is golden brown.
History of the pizza
Pizza is one of the oldest food dishes in the history of food cuisine. Flat bread style pizzas have been around for century’s, and many different country’s have their own twist and styles. Pizza is a cooking term that seemed to first pop up in some Latin text, in southern Italy, around 997 AD. Some historians believe that the Bishop of Gaeta at that time loved flat bread pizza and created the term. Around the 16th century, Americas brought tomatoes to Europe, and by the 18th century most people in and around Naples, was using tomatoes as toppings on their flat bread yeast dough’s, and so the pizza craze begun.
Pizza Sauce cooking procedure ( Cooking Steps)
Sautee Garlic and Oil in Sauce Pot, in-till garlic is translucent ( 3 Min on Low heat)
Add the sugar, tomatoes, and herbs
Bring sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let cook on a light simmer for 20 min .add salt and pepper for taste. you now have the option to puree the sauce for a smooth pizza sauce or leave it chunky, its your personal choice so ill let you decide witch Is best.
