Homemade Butterscotch Pudding

Updated on October 17, 2011

Stop buying all that packaged food!

Here's a great recipe for those who love dessert! There is no need to buy all those ugly packages just to enjoy a wonderful dessert after dinner. All those cans and boxes end up in landfills. And our landfills are piling up to the sky. This is one of my favorite treats. It is easy to make and the kids will love it.

Homemade Butterscotch Pudding

2 eggs

1 cup of organic dark brown sugar

1/2 cup of natural butter

4 tablespoons of flour

1 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract

3 cups of milk or soy milk ( you can also use almond milk )

Combine eggs, sugar, and milk in a large pot or sause pan. Stir and cook to a boil. Then, turn down the heat and add the vanilla extract. Sift in the flour while you stir. Cook and stir for ten minutes. Serve chilled with whip topping and a sprinkle of nutmeg. That's all! It is so easy. And you are left with only pudding and no box to waste!
