Homemade Vegetable Pizza
This is the simple method of vegetable pizza, which we make available ingredients in our kitchen. Do not forget to add pepper powder, salt and oregano in the mentioned quantities. It gives the real taste of pizza.
- 5 Cups All purpose flour
- 8 Teaspoons Sugar
- ¼ Cup Lukewarm water
- 2 ½ Teaspoons Yeast
- A pinch Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 Teaspoon Curd
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 ½ Tablespoon Chopped Garlic
- ¾ Teaspoon Pepper powder
- 1 ½ Big onions, (Cut into small pieces)
- Little Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Origano
- 4 Chicken Sausage, ( Cut into round pieces)
- 200 g Cheese, Grated
- 2 Tomato, (Cut into round pieces) Black Olives- De-seeded and cut into round shapes)
Preparation of Pizza Base
Combine yeast, lukewarm water, ½ teaspoon sugar and curd in a bowl and mix well. Rest 10 minutes for raising this mixture. Take a large bowl and put flour and sugar in it. Add salt to taste. Mix well and slowly add the raised mixture. Add lukewarm water and knead the dough like a chappathi dough.(If it sticks, spread some olive oil in your hands). Cover with a wet cloth and set aside to rest for 1 hour.
Preparation of Masala
Heat butter in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute till fragrant. Then add chopped onions and saute well- browned. Add pepper powder, salt and oregano (the real taste of pizza). Mix well and saute for a minute then remove from the fire. Spread a few drops of olive oil on the hand and knead the dough once more. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions shaped into balls. Spread olive oil on the pizza plate, and take one ball of dough and spread equally the ball in the pizza plate. (Make sure the thickness of the pizza base is equal). With the help of a fork, press all over the pizza base. Sprinkle grated cheese as the first layer and add the masala mixture as the second. The third layer is the tomato, which was cut into round pieces. Add chicken sausage and sliced olives as the fourth layer, between the tomato slices. Then spread the all grated cheese very well and then sprinkle oregano on the top. Put the pizza in a 180 degree Celsius preheated oven for 30 minutes. The sausage- chicken pizza is ready to taste.
