Spiced Nuts

Homemade goodness

This recipe is super simple I only use three types of nuts that I really love you can use the ones you like and then follow this recipe, its like customizing your on spice nuts so lets get started.

2 1/2 cups pecans

11/2 cup shelled red pistachios

2 cups almonds

1/2 tsp. ground coriander

1/2 tsp. ground cumin

4 tbsp. butter

2 1/4 tbsp. brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 1/2 tsp. sea salt

Now that you have your spices lets preheat the oven to 325F. I want you to place your favorite nuts on a rimmed baking sheet then Place the nuts in the oven., shaking the sheet several times during baking, about 10 to 15 minutes.

While your nuts are roasting using a small skillet over low heat, add coriander, cumin, butter, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, cayenne and sea salt. Stir until the butter melts and the sugar is dissolved. Place nuts in a bowl and drizzle with the warm spiced butter please do nut use a plastic bowl; stir until well coated, then spread them on a cookie sheet then let the nuts cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Makes 6 cups.

This is something that you and your kids will love, plus this is a tasty and very healthy treat so get the kids and let them enjoy this tasty treat with you.
