How To Cook Letche Plan: Step By Step Guide.
Lethce plan is one of the famous dessert from the Philippines. Every body in the Philippines love letche plan. And Christmas is coming; letche plan is always present in my mom’s menu. Leche plan is easy to cook just follow the step by step guide.
Letche plan is so yummy and delicious it’s melt in your mouth like ice cream.
Letche plan ingredients
- 10 t0 8 egg yolks
- 1 big can of condense milk
- 1 big can evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 3 moulds (lyanera) container
- Aluminum foil (for cover later)
Step 1 - Caramelize the sugar in very low heat, careful not to burn the sugar. Don’t stir just swirl the pan
Step 2 - Pour the caramelize sugar into the mould and set aside.
Step 3 - Separate the egg yolks from the egg white
Step 4 - Mix the egg yolks, condense milk, evaporated milk whisk lightly in a mixing bowl until everything is well blended.
Step 5 - Pour the mixture into the mould and cover it with aluminum foil.
Step 6 - Place the letche plan mould into the steamer with steaming water not boiling, steam each letche plan for about 20 minutes until it set.
Step 7 - Or baked the letche plan mould at 350 degree for 1 and ½ hour, don’t forget to put water about 1 to 1/2 inch.
Step 8 - Let letche plan to cool, and then refrigerate it for 2 hours for the letche plan to set. When ready to serve, place the plate at the top of letche plan then carefully turn over.
