What Is A Croissant?

A croissant is a french bread which has a form of a crescent. It is baked from a yeast dough and layered with a lot of butter. It is rolled and is folded many times before it is baked. It has a flacky texture. There are different kinds of croissants. Cheese, ham, chocolate, raisins, sesame and of course the normal croissants.

Croissant has a lot of calories so be careful not to eat much and not so often. It will ruin your figure. But then it is delicious. If you are not worrying about your figure, continue reading.

We don't have real croissants here in Peru, but we do have something similar. Now I have to go get some! Today's my shopping day, so I'll buy some sandwich fixings as well and use one of your ideas. Thank you!

I love croissants! I am not watching my weight but I still limit how often I buy them as they are fattening. So delicious though. There is nothing else quite like a croissant sandwich.
