How To Make Garlic Roasted Chicken

What you want to do to have a very moist delicious roast chicken is to brine your chicken before you roast it in the oven. To do this you want to mix 1 cup of ground sea salt in a gallon of water and then put your whole chicken in the brine water being sure to completely submerge your chicken. Let your whole chicken soak for at least an hour before you remove it from its brine bath. Soaking your chicken for a hour in a brine bath is the secret to a moist delicious chicken.

When you prepare your chicken by this recipe it will be very moist and flavorful and will taste like oven roasted garlic. What you want to do is purchase a jar of prepared ground garlic to use in this recipe.

For your recipe you'll want to use a 3 - 4 pound chicken. A tender young fryer will produce the most delicious garlic roasted chicken. And no you do not wash the chicken off after it soaks in its brine bath for a hour. But I do strongly suggest that you soak your chicken in a container in the refrigerator.

You will want to make a garlic paste by mixing a large jar of minced or ground garlic with 1/4 cup of softened butter and mix it together very well.

You will want to rub your chicken very well both inside and out with the garlic butter you just made. Apply it heavily both inside and outside so the chicken gets coated well.

Place your chicken in a large baking pan and bake in a pre heated 350 degree oven until it is done about 1 1/2 hours. Cook your chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 170 degrees in its thickest parts. Be sure to check with a meat thermometer.

Prepare a serving dish by placing a bed of rosemary and cherry tomatoes on the serving dish and then place your garlic roasted chicken on top of the rosemary bed. You may want to add the cherry tomatoes after you have the garlic roasted chicken on its rosemary bed.

I know you've probably tasted dry tasteless chicken but I promise you this chicken won't be dry. It will be moist and full of flavor.

And now you know the secret about how to make the most delicious moist chicken that you will ever eat. If your chicken starts to burn on the wings or legs while it is roasting then just wrap them with tin foil and remove after you bake your chicken.

Soaking your chicken for a hour in the sea salt brine bath is the real secret to producing a delicious moist baked chicken. And then when you cover it with the garlic butter and roast it you produce one of the most flavor full baked chickens you will ever taste.

Have you ever had garlic roasted chicken prepared this way. I really think that you will find that it is some of the most delicious moist chicken that you will ever taste. Please post a comment and let us all know what you think about Garlic Roasted Baked Chicken.
