How To Make Smoked Salmon Dip

This is a Great Recipe on Smoked Salmon Dip You will Love this Dip! I will give you an easy to read and understand step by step guide. This doesn't take very long to make and is great and family get together or just at home serving dip and chips. I have lots more dips that are also quick and easy. Be sure to check them out also.


Cook Time

  • Prep time: 20 min
  • Ready in: 20 min
  • Yields: Serves 4-6 or more / Serve Immedietly


  • 1 Pound of Smoked Salmon (alder smoked)
  • 6 tablespoons of fresh butter
  • 1/2 cup of minced celery
  • 3 tablespoons of capers ( rinsed and drained)
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper or red cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea-salt


  • Take your smoked salmon and remove the skin and bones from the fillet.
  • Flake the salmon to little shreds inside of bowl
  • add your fresh butter (melted until it is well coated in the salmon)
  • Add your celery, capers, dill, fresh lemon, salt and pepper
  • This will Not be blended in a food processor but rather crumbled. This will have a great crumbled look and makes an excellent dip/appetizer and tastes wonderful!

      My aunt would buy me smoke salmon dips from Whole Foods. I will try this recipe and let you know how it turned out. I have everything except for capers.
