How to Make Fudge from Scratch

Are you hoping to make fudge at home. This article contains a short recipe to making fudge fast along with a few how to make fudge videos.

First, you need a saucepan with a good base and a thermometer to analyze the temperature of the fudge. Now you’re ready to start making fudge.

Ingredients include:

· 2 pounds of sugar

· 8 ounces of milk

· 4 ounces of heavy cream

· 6 ounces of light corn syrup

· 8 ounces of unsweetened chocolate

First, you need to add the all these ingredients together into a bowl and heat. Mix while the heat is on and cook until temperature reaches 236F. Once the fudge comes to a boil, you should turn the heat down before it overheats. Overheating the fudge can cause the fudge to turn hard and undercooking the fudge can cause the fudge to turn soft. So the right temperature is needed to produce the best fudge.

Pour the fudge into a 9 by 13 inch pan to cool for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, pour the fudge into a mixing bowl and stir for another 5 minutes. The fudge will be ready if the fudge has air bubbles while you’re stirring. Set the fudge into a baking pan and let it cool for an hour. There it is ready to cut and eat.

Below are a few excellent fudge recipe videos for you. These include chocolate fudge recipes, pumpkin fudge recipes and more! Enjoy.
