How to Bake Hot Wings
Making hot wings are extremely simple to make. There are a couple different ways or styles to cook them. You can deep fry the wings or you can bake them. It's all a preference of taste and crispiness. Some people like to bread their hot wings before frying them, this gives a nice crispy taste to them.
To prepare your wings, wash them and pat dry with paper towel. Put a light coating of salt (and pepper if you like it) on them and let set for about 10 minutes.
If you're going to be baking them line your shallow baking pan with tin foil and put your wings into the pan and add your sauce (recipe below) on top and bake for about 45 minutes. At the end of your cooking time, put your oven on broil and watch carefully for about 10 minutes. Once one side is crisp, turn to the other side and allow to crisp up.
Cheap Fry Daddy
Wing Sauce Recipe
Ingredients: For 12 -15 chicken wings or 24 - 30 split wing pieces
* 3 TBSP. Hot sauce
* 2 TBSP. Butter or margarine
Mix together the hot sauce and butter or margarine and toss your cooked wings gently.
How to Fry Hot Wings
Prepare your wings by coating lightly in salt (pepper if you like) and let set for 10 minutes. Get your oil ready, the easiest way is to use a Fry Daddy. You can put a few inches of oil in a deep pan and cook them right on the stove as well. It will take longer to do it this way though.
Once your oil is hot gently place your wings in the oil and cook for about 15 minutes in a Fry Daddy, 20 - 25 minutes on the stove. Make sure to flip your wings once the first side is crispy brown.
