Masala cauliflower Fry

Ingredients

  • 500 gms Cauliflower
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 tsp Ghee
  • 2 nos. Onions, Chopped
  • 6-7 nos. Garlic Cloves
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 3-4 nos. Dried Red Chillies
  • 3 nos. Cloves
  • 2 nos. Badi ilaichi
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tsp Roasted Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 nos. Tomato, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Curd, Whipped
  • 2 tsp Coriander Leaves, Chopped

Instructions

  1. Clean cauliflower through sprigs. Take care that the sprig does not break. Sprinkle salt on cauliflower.
  2. Steam Cauliflower till it is half cooked.
  3. Heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan. When ghee is melted add cauliflower to it and saute it till it gets light golden brown in colour.
  4. Remove and set it aside.
  5. Grind onions, ginger, garlic, red chillies, badi ilaichi, jeera, salt, turmeric powder to a fine paste.
  6. Heat 2 tsp ghee for masala in a pan. Add the grinded paste to it. Stir and fry for 5-6 mins.
  7. Add tomato to it and cook for few minutes.
  8. Add curd to it and stir it till it gets mixed well.
  9. Add coriander leaves and mix well. If masala is too thick add some warm water to it and cook it for few minutes on slow flame.
  10. For serving, Place fried cauliflower in dish and smear it all over with cooked masala.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves.
