How to cook the dish

A very tasty Filipino Dish that gives a lovely twist on Pork.

Ingredients to serve 6 people:

1 kilogram of pork (cut into cubes )

50 ml of Soy sauce

Juice of half a lemon

2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

50 grams of dried lily flowers ( optional)

1 big onion (chopped into cubes)

I cup water

1 teaspoon peppercorn

3 tablespoon olive oil

100 grams of brown sugar

Procedures :

In a large saucepan combine all the ingredients above and bring to the boil and then simmer on a low heat with the lid on, stirring occasionally.

Add additional water if it looks too dry

Simmer for 25 minutes and serve with rice and enjoy

For guest staying at our Brittany holiday cottages either La Forge or La Veille Maison they can enjoy a Filipino gourmet night with a royal fan dance performed by Naomi to finish the evening.

The Holiday cottages are located in the Morbihan region of Brittany France and guest can enjoy the heated swimming pool from the start of April until the end of September.

My girlfriend cooks this at least every month and its wonderful; the picture of her cooking was at my parents golden wedding anniversary and everyone enjoyed it.
