Sex on the Beach

Check out some of these great cocktails

When you think of drinks for the ladies, you not only thing of sweet and aesthetically pleasing. You think of elegant, classy, savory, and complex. Just like a real woman, these cocktails embody the multiple attributes that make up a lady. Now, let's get into these great drinks, shall we? These are not in order by the way :).

1.) Cosmopolitan

There is a magazine named Cosmopolitan (enough said). The origins for this particular cocktail is mixed either coming from the Yuppie (upscale) community of the 1970s. Some say the homosexual community is a part of this particular cocktail. Cheryl Cook, a female bartender from Florida, said she really introduced it in the mid 1980s. Whatever the history, you get a real sense of a mix between a Cape Cod (Vodka and Cranberry) and a Kamikaze (add lime juice to the triple sec)

1 1/2 oz Citron Vodka

1/2 oz Triple Sec

1/2 oz Lime Juice

1 oz Cranberry Juice

2.) Lemon Drop

You can have these as cocktails as actual shots! Really fun party shots or cocktails.

1 oz Lemon Drop

1/2 oz Triple Sec

1/2 Sweet and Sour

3.)Caramel Apple Martini

Nothing says a sexy lady like a great Martini! Add a bit of flavor with your great Caramel Apple.

1 Vodka
1 1/2oz Sour Apple Pucker
1 1/2oz Butterscotch Schnapps

4.) Woo Woo

1oz Vodka
1/2oz Peach Schnapps
1/2oz Cranberry Juice

5.)An evening in Paris

This is actual recipe premiered on the Tipsy Bartender show when Ciroc Peach started to take off.

2oz peach vodka
1oz pineapple juice
1oz orange juice
1/2oz fresh lemon juice
Top with Sprite (or 7 up soda)
2 teaspoons sugar

6.) Malibu Bay Breeze

This is a take off of the original bay breeze with Vodka, Pineapple, and Cranberry Juice. It's actually pretty solid if you ask me. (Yes, I've had a couple of what! LOL). There are some really cool variations, which I will get into!

1 1/2 oz Malibu Coconut Rum
2 oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice

I would honestly use an ounce of the Pineapple and Cranberry Juice because you don't really taste the alcohol too much with an already light ALC level.

7.) Hpnotiq Breeze

This is a take off of the Bay Breeze. Only a couple of differences in the recipe:

1 1/2 oz Hpnotiq® liqueur
1 oz Malibu® coconut rum
2 oz pineapple juice

8.) Lava Lamp

This actually has a really cool effect with the champagne, I'll post a clip after the recipes.

1.5 oz Vodka
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
3 oz. Extra Dry Champagne
6 Craisins

9.) Sex on the Beach (Part 1)

You already know!

1oz Vodka
1/2oz Peach Schnapps
1oz Orange Juice
1oz Cranberry Juice

10.) Pina Colada

Coconut, Pineapple, and rum? What's not to love about this drink!

1 1/2oz White Rum
1 1/2oz Cream of Coconut
1 1/2oz Pineapple Juice
Slice of Pineapple
1/4 cup Pineapple

There are countless more recipes that embody the sexy ladies. Here are five sexy recipes and great bar shots!
