How to make Pico De Gallo from Scratch!

Making Pico De Gallo is the perfect salsa/dip for Tacos, Quesadillas, or Tortilla Chips there is. Here I will give you a Simple recipe giving you an easy to understand and step by step guide so that you can make this yourself at home.

Plus I will add a couple of different recipes for other Salsa's you can try as well!

Pico De Gallo Home - Made Recipe


  • Food Processor (if available)
  • Sharp knife
  • bowl
  • cutting board
  • 2 Jalapenos - minced (be sure to seed it ) can also buy the can
  • chilies
  • cilantro ( 1 full bunch)
  • tomatoes ( I like to use Roma Tomatoes)
  • 1/2 red onion ( can use white, or yellow )
  • minced garlic ( fresh or from glass jar) I use organic :)
  • Lime ( a Must have! ) 1/4 cup juice )
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper


Instructions:
Take all your ingredients and make sure you clean, seed it and mince all of your ingredients.Once all your ingredients are ready, be sure to put into a bowl and stir well, adding some salt and pepper to taste. Once you are done, refrigerate for at least a half hour before serving!
This is very very healthy, and a wonderful fresh salsa for you and your friends or family.


Prep time: is about 20 mins.


Notes: adding cilantro and lime is Key in this recipe, and you can adjust how much according to your liking

Green Salsa - Home Made Recipe


Ingredients:

  • Cutting board
  • sharp knife
  • or food processor


  • about 1 pound of Tomatillos (these are your green tomatoes )
  • 1 red onion ( can use white or yellow)
  • 4 Jalapeno Peppers ( minced and seeded ) can buy can
  • 1/4 cup - Lime fresh
  • 1 Bunch of cilantro
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper


Instructions:
Take all your ingredients and make sure you clean, seed it and mince all of your ingredients.Once all your ingredients are ready, be sure to put into a bowl and stir well, adding some salt and pepper to taste. Once you are done, refrigerate for at least a half hour before serving!

Corn Salsa - Home Made Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Food Processor (if available)
  • Sharp knife
  • bowl
  • cutting board


  • 2 to 3 ears of Corn
  • 3 to 4 Tomatoes ( I use Roma ) use less if using regular tomatos
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 Red Bell Peppers (chopped) (seed it first)
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers ( chopped seeded, can use some seeds)
  • 2 limes or 1/4 cup of Lime Juice
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tsp of chilies (chipotle canned)
  • 1 Tblsp of Olive Oil ( I use organic )
  • 1 bunch of cilantro (chopped)
  • pinch of salt
  • Pinch of Pepper

Instructions for the corn:1.There are a couple of ways to do the corn. If you want the Roasted Corn. (fresh corn Pull the husks off, Wash, and put into a Fry pan with some butter and Fry your corn and then Cut off the corn for your salsa

OR

2. Take the husks off, clean Corn and Boil Until cooked (considering its fresh) and cut the corn.

Instructions:

      these all sound great. I love fresh squeezed lime and cilantro in any salsa recipe. Great way to use up our summer tomatoes. :)
