How to make the best roasted garlic chicken

2 cloves of of fresh garlic, 4 ozs Garlic powder, 3/4 stick of butter, 4 oz basil, 4oz Thyme, salt & pepper, 1/4 cup lemon juice
Slice the garlic cloves into small sections and put aside.
Melt 1/2 stick butter in a bowl, add 4 oz garlic powder, add some salt & pepper.
The first step is to make sure your chicken is not frozen, but near room temperature when you start.
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees
Rinse out your chicken and very importantly, make SURE that the chicken is dried out completely INSIDE and OUT, so as to not cause steam when cooking, which will dry out the chicken.
Next, once dried thoroughly, add the sliced garlic pieces with some garlic powder, salt, basil, thyme & pepper to the inside of the chicken, making sure every thing is evenly distributed on the insides as much as possible.
Next, truss the chicken well so that it cooks evenly.
Next, take the salted butter and garlic & pepper sauce and brush it on the outside evenly to coat it well. Add a little basil and thyme to add zing to the flavor, and several drops of lemon juice will also accentuate the flavor.
Put in the oven for 55-60 minutes.
DO NOT BASTE while cooking. It will make the skin soggy.
After taking the chicken out of the oven, make sure internal temperature is 165 degrees to make sure it is cooked thoroughly.
Serve with your favorite garnish.
