When I first came here I was quite surprise the way pineapple peeled , it's a waste to us, we never discard so much pineapple's meat.
I understand that might for the efficiency but nevertheless I introduce our way of peeling a pineapple, maybe, you'll find it interesting, with this method, you'll save some flesh and have beautiful shape as well.
cut flat one end or both if you prefer | Source
peel the skin but not too thick | Source
remove the black dots with two knife stroke, 1 .. | Source
the trick is, do several parallel lines at a time, so you do not have to rotate it too much | Source

give both pineapple and tools a quick rinse under cool water | Source
