Ice Cream Pie

It is time to make a pie. i was going to make an apple pie, but I know there will be a ton of people already bringing pies. SO I decided that I am going to make an ice cream pie. An easy no bake solution that uses ingredients that I probably already have in the house.

Ingredients

  • 1 box oreos
  • 1/2 cup fudge
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups mint chip ice cream
  • 2 TBLS melted butter

Instructions

  1. Use about half of the Oreo to make the crust. I put them into a food processor to create a fine Oreo substance, continue to mince and add the melted butter.
  2. Press the Oreo's into the bottom of the pie dish.
  3. I prefer to have the mint chip ice cream on the bottom, although it to soften slightly so that it is easy to press on top of the crust.
  4. Add a layer of chocolate fudge on top of the ice cream.
  5. Add a layer of vanilla ice cream of top of that.
  6. Crush about three Oreo's to sprinkle on top of the pie for decoration.

Quick & Easy Dessert

This is a quick and easy dessert to make. I often let the ice cream soften before spreading and then put it back in the freezer for a bit to harden before adding the next layer.
