Spring Mix and Fresh Vegetables Salad
If you eat this salad before eating your lunch or dinner, it will help you loose weight, if, of course, you follow other necessary recommendations for weight loss, such as exercise program and proper eating habits.
- 3 cups Spring mix salad
- 2 Tomatoes
- 3 Bell peppers, red, orange and yellow
- 1 Cucumber
- 1/2 Bunch of parsley, about 5-6 springs
- 1/2 Bunch of dill weed
- 1/2 Avocado
- Chop everything, season with some sea salt, freshly ground up pepper, sprinkle with raw apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
- Mix everything well together and enjoy!
To turn this salad into a complete meal, add cooked beans or lentils about 1/2 cup. Also, you can sprinkle it with some seeds, nuts, or add crumbled feta cheese. Some of the choices might include: slivered almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. A combination of beans and seeds will give you a complete protein.
